Pastor Louie was an assistant pastor at Calvary Chapel Anaheim until pastor Mark encouraged him to take a step of faith and start Calvary Chapel Norco. The church was formed in July of 1995 with just a few people in Louie and Cheryl’s living room for Sunday morning service. In January of 1996 the church took a step of faith and rented a building where the foundation in the Word was laid during a five year period. Then a loss of lease put the congregation on a search for another facility. A temporary location was used for nine months and then the Sunday after 9-11 the church found itself by God’s grace and leading in their current church home on a busy corner in Norco. The best is yet to be in Jesus for the flock at Calvary Chapel Norco! (Eph 3:20)
